VisionWT hosted the first ever eZ publish UK partner conference at their central London offices on 13th April 2007. The turnout was a good one with Gold, Silver and Bronze partners in attendance.
Many issues were discussed to plot the UK actions and direction of eZ publish in the UK. There was a sneak peak at the new eZ publish NOW as well as a in-depth review of the Premium service.

A job well done
VisionWT’s Paul Forsyth wins the eZ Honorary Award 2007 at the eZ Conference and Awards event in Norway.
The evening's host was Frithjof Wilborn, the Norwegian celebrity known best for hosting "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire". Paul collected his award on stage from the Norwegian IT Minister, Heidi Grande Røys.
The Honorary Award 2007 winner was selected based on the following components:
- Long and faithful membership in the eZ ecosystem
- Steady flow of contributions
- Constant interaction and innovation
- Admirable conduct and example
- Who contributed the most making eZ get attention in the market
VisionWT has been nominated for 2 awards at this year’s upcoming eZ Awards event taking place during the eZ Conference in June 2007.

VisionWT had a successful 3 days with eZ Systems and EMC at Internet World, May 2007, at Earl’s Court in London. The event stand never had a quiet moment and we thank every one who took the time to come and speak to us.
Internet World as a whole has evolved into a grand scaled event over the last few years. There were over 250 company stands with more than 200 keynote speakers and a multi-streamed seminar programme.
eZ Systems logged 2 million downloads of their popular software eZ Publish in March 2007. The increase in downloads has been 100% since late 2005.
Users around the world have downloaded eZ Publish, the popular open source content management system developed by eZ Systems and its community. This product is free of charge and can easily be download from the website www.ez.no. The activity on the web regarding this software and additional products has increased at a high rate in the last few years.
VP Sales and Marketing at eZ Systems, Vidar Top, says:
"The 2 million downloads mark from ez.no emphasizes our strong focus on reaching the right audience. We are currently expanding our product-line with service offerings such as eZ Publish Now, which gets you started right away, easy, fast and secure. eZ Systems has secured 5 million USD in funding.
eZ Systems closed a deal with the Norwegian-based investment company BTV Invest for this round of financing (through their BTV-Fond investment fund).
