CAFOD: World Gifts
VisionWT were approached to develop the online solution for the CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development) World Gifts campaign to maximise donations around the Christmas 2004 period. We have been developing the World Gifts website for each Christmas period since.
The website is part of a complete campaign involving postal and telephone donations in addition to online donations.
The website provides an opportunity for CAFOD to talk about how the various gifts sold on the website such as giving a goat in East Africa, will provide longer term benefits and make a difference in regions across the world.
In addition to buying gifts and making donations, users can see exactly what their gift recipient will receive in the form of certificates and cards.
The main CAFOD website is an ever evolving eZ publish CMS website in order to meet the continuous needs of CAFOD and their supporters.
For the younger audience, there is the Kidz Zone website helping them learn about the people CAFOD help through donations and fundraising in a fun way to keep children interested.
