Today the new version of eZ Publish was launched, version 4.4(Fuji). To celebrate this release and the subsequent splitting of this and future releases into an Enterprise version and a Community version, eZ Systems have also launched redesigns of both their portals for ez.no and share.ez.no.

The new eZ Publish 4.4 version boasts the new online image editor. Editors can now crop, pixelating some parts of the image, apply filters such as Black and White rendering, adjust contrast and brightness, flip, rotate, resize and even addwatermarks on the image, all from the administration interface or front end editor. This is a simple way for users to directly edit images. They have also updated the administrationinterface in eZ Publish 4.4, to further improve the user experiencefor editors and users. alongside the standard, RSS support, configurable emailnotifications, keyword tagging, everything ineZ Publish is designed with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in mind. All URL's created in eZ Publish are Google-friendly and understandable for visitors and search engines. It also boasts improve support for mobile devices and has updated to the latest web standards including HTML5.
